Payneham Cemetery Walk

The Payneham Cemetery, first established in 1848 by the Primitive Methodists, has strong links with the foundation and settlement of South Australia.

The walk allows visitors to ponder some of the stories of our early settlers and to view the rich diversity of monuments representing the life and traditions of past generations.

The walk begins in row 0, starting at the Arthur Street end. The terrain is mainly flat but pathways are sometimes uneven or altered due to redevelopment of the cemetery site. Allow two hours.
