Thank you for considering to advertise your business within the Aussie Dog Friendly Business Directory.

BEFORE submitting an application to the Aussie Dog Friendly Business Directory (ADFBD), you should read and understand the following terms, conditions, and processes. By submitting an application, the applicant (The Advertiser) legally agrees to the terms, conditions, and processes listed. 

CONFIDENTIALITY & PRIVACY:

  • The Advertiser acknowledges that all information provided to ADFBD, apart from the information published within an ADFBD business listing, will always remain confidential and will never be shared or sold to a third party. 

APPLICATION SUBMISSIONS:

  • The Advertiser acknowledges that ADFBD will only consider applications that align within the dog friendly business genres.
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that they will only list their business in relevant dog friendly categories. ADFBD has the right to remove a business listing from a category should it not be applicable to the Advertiser's scope of trade and/or not stated on the Advertiser's website.
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that ADFBD will only consider applications from businesses that trade in Australia; this is ADFBD's contribution to supporting our country. 
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that ADFBD will assess each application for its dog friendly business compatibility; however, ADFBD has the right to decline any application without disclosing the reason(s) for their decision.
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that ADFBD has the final decision into which dog friendly category(s) their business listing will appear. If there is nil agreement between both parties, ADFBD will not further progress the application, and a refund will be granted.
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that ADFBD does not place a limit on how many businesses of similar nature may be advertised within a particular dog friendly category, a trading area, and /or its surrounding suburbs.
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that a business listing will appear in the 'location search function' based on the business’s actual address of trade. i.e. The retail address of the business.
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that if their business trades from multiple locations, they are required to complete a separate application per trading address.
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that each application incurs its own subscription fee. 
  • The Advertiser supports all dog training that is conducive to the assessed temperament traits of each dog.

INVOICING & PAYMENTS:

  • The Advertiser acknowledges that payment for a single business listing is required at the time of the application via the PayPal or eWay portals. 
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that multiple location business listings (>5 locations) can be issued a tax invoice. To organise this option, email www.AussieDogFriendlyBusinessDirectory.com.au with complete details.
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that their business listing(s) will not be published until final payment has been received.
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that a request for a delayed payment plan or the like will be declined. 

BUSINESS LISTING’S CONTENT:

  • The Advertiser agrees to provide ADFBD with accurate and current information at the time of the application.
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that should amendments need to be made to their business listing details, e.g. website address; the Advertiser will email the new details to ADFBD, of which, modifications will be made within five business days.
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that it is their responsibility to regularly review their businesses listing on www.AussieDogFriendlyBusinessDirectory.com.au to ensure its currency.

LEGAL & ETHICAL ADVERTISING STANDARDS:

  • The Advertiser grants ADFBD permission (licence) for the term of their advertising subscription to use any information and any images that are available on their business website or on any of their business social media platforms.
  • The Advertiser agrees that failure to advise ADFBD of any errors automatically transfers legal liability to the Advertiser.

PUBLISHING:

  • The Advertiser acknowledges that it may take up to five business days from receipt of full payment for their business listing to appear on the ADFBD website.
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that the agreed period of advertising will only commence from the published date. 
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that if at any time they desire to withdraw their business listing from the ADFBD website, they are to forward their request to info@AussieDogFriendlyBusinessDirectory.com.au This action may take up to five business days to process.

REPORTING:

  • The Advertiser acknowledges that ADFBD will not provide any website or Facebook activity reporting. 
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that this nil reporting policy has been established so that ADFBD can maintain low administrative costs to then provide 'very affordable advertising for all dog friendly businesses'.

SUBSCRIPTION RENEWALS:

  • The Advertiser acknowledges that a month before the expiration of their advertising subscription, ADFBD will email the Advertiser that their subscription is due for renewal.
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that if they do not resubscribe or contact ADFBD before their business listing’s expiration date, and ADFBD are unable to contact the Advertiser; ADFBD will automatically unpublish the Advertiser’s business listing.

REFUNDS:

  • The Advertiser acknowledges that a refund will not be granted after a business listing has been paid for and published.
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that a change of business ownership during the subscription period will not warrant a pro-rata refund. 
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that if their business ceases to trade during the subscription period, a pro-rata refund will not be granted. 

FREE LISTINGS:

  • The Advertiser acknowledges that ADFBD is only offering a free listing within the 'Dog Friendly Events Calendar' and 'Dog Rescue Groups' categories to not-for-profit organisations & community groups that are not in partnership with a commercial trading business.
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that when a not-for-profit organisation or community group partners with a commercial business that will be trading on the appointed day(s), there will a fee charged to have their event(s) included within the 'Dog Friendly Events Calendar'.
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that a commercial business that offers dog-friendly events as part of their products and services will be charged a fee to have their dog-friendly events included within the 'Dog Friendly Events Calendar'.
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that a 'Dog Friendly Events Calendar' listing will only appear in the 'location search function' based on the actual location of the event.
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that a 'Dog Friendly Events Calendar' listing will expire from the 'Dog Friendly Events Calendar' at midnight on the event’s finish date.
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that ADFBD will assess each application for its dog friendly compatibility; however, ADFBD has the right to decline any application without disclosing the reason(s) for their decision.
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that the earlier an application is submitted, the sooner it will appear within either one of these categories.
  • The Advertiser acknowledges that these free listings are a gift to the community and not an entitlement.
